⭐️ Schwinn Auction Highlights ⭐️

These highlights give you an advantage in navigating this incredible nearly 600 lot collection

1800's Bicycle Race Medals

An antique collection of bicycle athletic event medals. Many awarded by the "Century Club" for 100 mile races. Incredibly, there is even a complete set of judges/committee medals used to organize officials.

1952 Anniversary Columbia Five Star Superb Bicycle

This is an original bicycle made in 1952 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Columbia bicycles. Fully trimmed out, this bicycle is reminiscent of executive class Cadillacs of the same 50's era. The condition of this bicycle is incredible: It belongs in a museum. All original decals are intact, and materials such as the seat and handlebar steamers are still flexible and nice.

Vintage Schwinn Accessories New In Box

This auction was sourced from a dealer that ran in the 1970s. There is an incredible selection of official Schwinn parts and accessories still in their original boxes. Winning these treasures at auction will bring a museum quality to your vintage bicycle collection

1800's Bicycle Club Membership Cards

There are several pieces of bicycle paper & ephemera dating back to the late 1800's. A notable example is an array of bicycle membership cards for the League of American Wheelmen and the Century Club.

1800's Mint Condition Bicycle Accessories

The kerosene lantern seen above was uncovered in virtually brand new condition, despite being over 100 years old. The "port and starboard" style green & red jewels are beautiful. The near-mint chrome finish and felt, still soft & plyable, makes this one of the several flagship pieces for your bidding. There are several 1800's accessories in this auction for your museum quality display.

Antique Bicycling Photographs

A large variety of original bicycling photographs add a unique twist to this collection. Many are sourced from a late 1800's to early 1900's bicycle shop in Bridgeton NJ. They range from glass negatives, to tin types, to antique prints attached to paperboard. Many depict antique Colombia models.

Vintage Bicycle Catalogs

A large variety of catalogs spans across Schwinn, Ross, Rollfast, and Huffy bicycles, like seen in the 1922 example above. Many of these catalogs are in great condition, printed in color, and span back decades, presenting great opportunities for framing or otherwise completing a vintage bicycle display.

Early 1940's Wartime Schwinn Cycle Truck

All original, down to the original decals, and totally un-modified, this bicycle is iconic and instantly eye catching as a unique piece of Americana. We were able to date this model based on its original tires marked Gillette Special Service Balloon with circle stamped "War Tire". Overall a must-have for all serious vintage bicycle collectors who value museum quality specimens.

Delta Electric Accessories

Like this auction's original Schwinn deadstock, these parts from Delta Electric present a retro throwback to the "Rocket Corvette" era of the time. While young men in this era were allowed to drive cars, they sure could deck out their bikes with these awesome original accessories.

Exclusive 1960's Dealer Catalogs

This is the 'holy grail' to your vintage Schwinn collection. Few will understand the importance of this piece. The pictured lot, a 1968 Schwinn Franchise Dealer's Sales Manual, was issued to new Schwinn Dealerships with information on everything in running a Schwinn franchise.

There are several exclusive dealer-only catalogs in this auction. Only top-level collectors with museum quality in mind will understand their importance.

1960's-1970's Schwinn Sting Rays

There are several all-original, trimmed out Schwinn muscle bikes in this collection. Amazingly, the condition on these is excellent. Pictured is the super-star of this collection, a 1972 Orange Krate with paint so bright its like an orange creamsicle on a hot summer day. These bikes are in such good condition because they were found stored safely away from sunlight and the elements in the bedrooms of a climate controlled house.

1930's-1950s Balloon Tire Bicycles

Balloon tire bicycles exude the classic Americana of the "Boys Life" magazines that made them famous. We have several models that are perfect for your next restoration project, bicycle museam, or simply as wall decoration in a tasteful cafe, barbershop, brewery, or otherwise. Every balloon tire bicycle in this auction is a high-trim model, typically dubbed as "Deluxe" or "Super Deluxe" by the manufacturers in their time.
